Luckily, there's a slightly back-to-the- future-styled solution that will allow you to create totally custom T-shirts for your customers—the newest variation on the technology you might remember from those old-fashioned T-shirt shops in the mall in years gone by. Today's heat-transfer printing allows anyone with digital les to transfer exist- ing logos, advertising images or custom- ized pictures to a regular, long-lasting cotton T-shirt. The results are long-lasting images that don't have the rubbery, sweaty feel of old-time heat transfer appliques, and can be easily and affordably produced for print jobs as small as one shirt at a time. Chemical pre-treatment is not required and equipment costs are minimal, mak- ing it an easy way to generate new rev- enue with promotional or even spec jobs for existing customers.
