Beatport's top selling techno DJ/producer of 2015, drops Destination, his first EP of the year, via Popof's Form Music imprint "This four-track offering is Julian's fourth EP release on Form, following on from his previous acclaimed EPs such as Techno Corner, Mad, and last year's Meteorite. The title track kicks the techno off with powerful bass, tight drums and mechanical synths, before moving in 'Myli', another high-tempo cut with fierce kick drums, rolling percussion and repeated vocals. Again, strong percussion is at the heart of'Foundation', with looped-up beats sitting at the forefront of the track, broken up by keyboard stabs and vocal snippets, and the driving claps of 'Eight' make the final track a pounding groover. There's also a remix of 'Destination' from Parisian artist Animal & Me (who releases on prestigious labels such as Form, Hot Creations and Cocoon amongst others), to round out the record." More a@Guestlist.net NEW RELEASES Local government in Ibiza has cancelled all upcoming events from tINI and her friends at the Lips Beach Club this summer. Ali Love and Luca Cazal draft in Yasmin for vocal duty She planned two different parties for the White Isle this summer, one was a free event during the day before moving to club, Underground. Sounds great, but maybe too great as Ibizan authorities have forced them to cancel the daytime festivities just two days before the debut party. tINI broke the news via on a video on Facebook - though some good news at least those nighttime parties will still be taking place. The club will also open its doors earlier to fit in the extra artists who've lost their slots at the day time party. Recorded in a studio in the hills of Northern Ibiza and later completed in London, 'How Do I Love You' is Infinity Ink's contemporary take on original NY house music. The track is a tribute to Queen Latifah's 'How Do I Love Thee', as Luca explains: "Our friend Elliot used to work for Circoloco in Ibiza, one of main bookers, quite a character. He asked us to record a cover version of 'How Do I Love Thee' by Queen Latifah, which was itself based on a poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. He had us do a cover version so he could play it to a girl he was pursuing and impress her...We took it back to London and realised it needed a female vocalist. Yasmin was perfect. The original is spoken word but we turned the vocals into a melody so it's more of a song- tribute than a cover version. NEWS: TINI AND CREW HAD THEIR IBIZA PARTIES CANCELLED.
