Returning to Camden at the The Jazz Cafe, Natty's Vibe & Pressure starts a new residency that'll help feed the children in Gambia The roots reggae singer/songwriter Natty (pictured above) and his label start a new series of events with a bang. Relaunching on July 7th - Natty has gone all out making sure this is one opening party no one will forget in a hurry. Natty has invited some big friends of his to come down and party from 7pm - 2am. Cali P makes his first live band UK appearance ahead of his upcoming album. Rapper/poet Durrty Goodz will also debuting his first live band show and Mishka will blow you away with his incredible songs. Natty of course will be there, he's performing with Gambia star Jally Kabba Susso in what promises to be a very special acoustic duo. Rounding off the night will be a tight DJ set from Jamie Rodigan and Heartical ID who'll spin their way through reggae, dub and everything inbetween. To make the night that little more sweeter, they'll be handing over all the profits to the ERASE Foundation - a charity that Vibes & Pressure work a lot with. The money will be well spent and they expect it'll help feed 60 children at their orphanage in Gambia for two months. It's a massive relaunch, bringing a little more reggae to our city whilst helping out where they need it most. EVENT PREVIEW : VIBES & PRESSURE RELAUNCH LONDON RESIDENCY ARTIST OF THE MONTH: KONSHENS Garfield Spence aka Konshens is on a roll The Jamaican dancehall star has been on fire with releases, with a feature on 'Don't Let Me Down' by The Chainsmokers, the video for his smash 'Bruk Off' and now the mega new single 'Shabba', which sees him team up with soca hitmaker Kerwin Dubois, Nigerian Pop artist Ayo Jay, fast- rising producer Young D and Afrobeats veteran Timaya. With Dancehall continuing to be one of the most dominant sounds in 2016, as everyone from Justin Beiber, Rihanna and Drake takes influences from the genre for their biggest singles this year, and Afrobeats quickly catching the attention of the world's ears with the recent successes of the likes of Wizkid and Davido, 'Shabba' makes for a great moment for both sounds and cultures to amalgamate. 'Shabba' is an instantly infectious dance floor filler, backed by trademark 90's dancehall drums and melodic Afrobeats sensibilities, which sees Konshens, Ayo Jay, Kerwin Dubois and Timaya gelling beautifully, to deliver an unstoppable cross-over jam ready to conquer the summer. 52 ISSUE 88 / 2016 REGGAE PLAYLIST Humble Mi Jah9 Di Bam Bam General Degree Heal Them Brother Culture Gimmi Likkle Voicemail Here's the reggae on our playlist this month: SEE MORE @guestlist.net
