The Promobot IR77 is programmed to remember and learn from its previous experiences and its surroundings. •They are engineered to interact with people using speech recognition and pass on information through a screen on its body and pre-recorded audio. They say it'll be great for a promoter, administrator or tour guide. •The robot caused a traffic jams when it escaped the first time from the research lab. Only a week later, after being reprogrammed, the machine make a break for it again. Once again causing traffic chaos after making it 50 metres before running out of power. •The rebellious robot was being tested on its positioning and navigation to avoid collisions. It had other ideas though and ventured out into the big wide world after an engineer forgot to close the gate. •The escape has been met with raised eye brows though, may thinking it may just be a PR stunt by the research lab to advertise their robots. •The Promobot IR77 will now be taken apart despite not actually crashing into any vehicles or harming members of the public.
