GROOVEFEST RETURNS TO THE DOMINICANREPUBLIC
Say hello to Greece's new open
air festival.
In Greek mythology, Mount Pelion (which took
its name from the mythical king Peleus, father
of Achilles) was the homeland of Chiron the
Centaur, tutor of many ancient Greek heroes,
such as Jason (Jason and the Argonauts),
Achilles, Theseus and Heracles. It was in Mount
Pelion, near Chiron's cave, that the marriage
of Thetis and Peleus took place. The dispute
that then arose between the goddesses Hera,
Aphrodite and Athena resulted in events leading
to the Trojan War.
On August 6th and 7th the very first Electronic
music dance event will take place at one of the
most beautiful location Pelion has to offer.
Rhythmatic Open Air event will run over two days
with some of the finest Techno and House DJs
from labels like, Objektivity, Herzblut Recordings,
The Real Rocknrolla, Upon. You, Souvenir Music
plus many more, making it one of the must-
attend events in 2016.
