INDIE
US singer-songwriter Alexandra
Savior recently released her first
track Shades from her upcoming
album and we are completely
hooked already.
Everyone's favourite indie fest
returns this August Bank Holiday
The track is a collaboration between Savior, Arctic
Monkey's Alex Turner and James Ford as co-
producer. Her voice has a sexy smoldering vibe
throughout the song and lures you into the fuzzed
tone of the bass and the old-school guitar strokes.
Over the years Reading & Leeds has expanded
its musical programming, including acts from the
worlds of dance, grime and hip-hop. 2016 is no
exception, with heavyweight names like Disclosure,
A$AP Rocky, and Fetty Wap all taking to the stage,
as well as an entire dance arena. However, the indie
focus has not been forgotten, and with some of the
world's biggest bands - Foals. Red Hot Chili Peppers,
Biffy Clyro - headlining, it's sure to be the most rock
& roll festival of the year.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH: WE ARE
SCIENTISTS
We Are Scientists announce autumn tour and share new video for 'In My Head'
The New York band are coming back
to our shores this autumn with an
extensive tour. We Are Scientists are
always an entertaining live prospect,
performing tracks from their latest
releases Helter Seltzer and TV en
Français as well as a healthy dose from
classics stretching right back to their
2005 major label debut With Love and
Squalor. To really get us excited for the
tour, they've shared a new video for 'In
My Head', the next single to be lifted
from their fifth studio album, in which
bassist Chris Cain, singer and guitarist
Keith Murray, and drummer Keith Carne
all feature heavily.
