The Game & Snoop Dogg hosted a anti-violence summit in LA on July 17th after the recent violent police shootings in Baton Rouge & Minnesota. Along with Minister Farrakhan, they started a campaign called H.U.N.T 'Hate Us Not Today' they encouraged gang members to all come together. Berlin's techno museum finally has a location. Founder of Berlin's Tresor club announced plans to open the 'Living Archive of Electronica' in Berlin. The cultural centre has now got a confirmed site, within the ex-power station in Mitte. The site has been used as a host to Tresor. New meaning to a fire set. Andy C's set at EDC Las Vegas was cut sort after part of the stage caught fire. A pyrotechnic failure caused the blaze, not that Andy cared as he continued his set. He was eventually told to stop as the onsite fire crew arrived. Slipknot's singer knocks fan's phone. Slipknot's Corey Taylor knocked a fan's phone out of his hand at a gig. The metal group were performing their classic 'Eyeless' when the lead singer spotted the fan on his phone in the front row. Later Slipknot tweeted "If you're goona text, stay home". Sizzla ditched by Reggae Gee. The Belgium festival dropped their exclusive performance from Sizzla Kalonji after they saw a video of the artist making controversial and homophobic statements. The removal of Sizzla follows strong protests in recent weeks. Reggae Geel said that they distance themselves 'stronglt' from his comments. More @guestlist.net REVIEW WELCOME TO THE FUTURE FESTIVAL WTTF was back with a bang this July. A sell out, the Dutch festival had one of the best collection of house and techno artists. Its unique stages all played host to some of the most forward thinking artists in the game. It was easy to see why this festival is a Dutch favourite, beautiful surroundings, epic stage set ups - until next year! PREVIEW GLITTERBOX Stepping out of the taxi at Herne Hill, you knew you'd arrived at Sunfall. We were welcomed by booming basslines and what a welcome it was. Through the day a more than up for it crowd were treated to huge sets from guys like Moodymann, Goldie, dBridge, and Jamie XX. Sunfall has set itself up to be a permanent fixture in the festival diary. REVIEW Glitterbox gear up for another mega August Bank Holiday party at Ministry of Sound. Opening at 4pm on 28th August in the Courtyard, the party features Dimitri From Paris, Joey Negro, Simon Dunmore, Purple Disco Machine, and For The Love Of House, plus performances from dance crew, Hot Heels. The Roller Disco will take place in the club's legendary Box from 5pm to 8pm. SUNFALL FESTIVAL
