The Brooklyn rappers from the Flatbush section of the city take an activist approach to their lyrics and have collaborated with the likes of RZA, Joey Badass, ASAP Mob, Jim Jones, Juicy J, Danny Brown, Action Bronson. The UK indie rock band are sweeping the world with their wuirky, absurd synth rock. METALHEADZ HISTORY SESSIONS @PHONOX 28/08/2016 Metalheadz is dropping down Phonox this August bank holiday taking a trip down memory lane. The legendary label has a solid reputation after years of dominating the darker side of drum & bass. Goldie, Randall, Storm and more will all be digging their crates for this one! MOGWAI PLAY ATOMIC @THE BARBICAN 15/09/2016 Mark Cousin's critically acclaimed documentary 'Atomic: Living in Dread and Promise', is constructed entirely from archive footage which captures the nuclear age and the atomic world - the cold war, Chernobyl, X-Rays and MRI scans. In this unique performance, Mogwai perform their chilling soundtrack to the documentary live during a screening. KEVIN SAUNDERSON @BUSSEY BUILDING / THE CLF CAFE 26/08/2016 Throwing themselves a big 9th anniversary party, CLF Cafe have secured a huge line up. Heading proceedings is Detroit's own Kevin Saunderson. The godfather of techno will be joined by some of London's best experimental house and breaks with Mr Beatnick, Main Squeeze + more billed. LITTLE ROY @JAZZ CAFE 11/09/2016 Veteran reggae singer Little Roy covered not one song, but a whole album by Nirvana. Little Roy's reggae album of Nirvana cover songs is bizarrely faithful to the original tracks in its spirit of soul and social anger. The dubby Come as You Are is nothing short of beautiful.
