A classic tale of good versus evil, a well
known story, a what some might call
serious geek territory. The animated
original of Transformers is a classic movie
who's legacy is still seen in cinema, fashion
and music.
Based on the successful TV series,
the Transformers was a combination of
American story writers and Japanese
animators who together created an epic
tale of struggling to survive. The Autobot's
are locked into a huge battle with their
enemies, the Decepticons. All the while
a colossal robot planet, Unicron is slowly
consuming everything in its path. The
Autobots have to not only battle the
Decepticons - but save their home planet,
Cybertron.

The original Transformers movie hit the screens on 8/8/1986.
We are losing our listening and we spend our 60% communication time listening,
but we are not good at it and we retain just 25% of what we hear. Listinening
can be defined as making meaning from sound. You have to distinguish patterns
and differences and consider filters, listening position, rasa (receive, appreciate,
summarise, ask). The solution to listen better is to connect to each other. We need
to teach listening to our school as a skill, and we can move listening to a place where
everybody will be consciously listening all the time. The TED community is capable of
anything and it can transform the world in a world of connection, understanding and
peace.
