20 ISSUE 90 / 2016 FESTIVALS After co-running the United festival for two years, Slammin Vinyl are going solo. Reviving Tranz-Mission, the UK promoters have fixed up a day of top rave music this September. Gathering a huge collection of talents to celebrate our diverse and exciting rave culture. They have legends and upcoming talent alike billed, helping us see out the festival season in style. 8 stages, hosted by the likes of One Nation, Jungle Fever, Raindance, Sun City, Hardcore Heaven & Kool FM and more, will cover all things ravey with a mouth watering line up that old ravers and newbies alike can sink their teeth into. The huge line up, headed by Grandmaster Flash, is one of the biggest rave bills to hit London's festival circuit this summer. Hip hop, jungle, hardcore, UK garage and acid are represented to full effect leaving us with some difficult decisions to make on the day. It's a mighty return of Slammin Vinyl's Tranz-Mission who were throwing huge parties at the Alexandra Palace between 2005/2010. Slammin Vinyl are one of the countries biggest party planners, and this festival looks set to further their huge reputation. Their festival takes place on the 24th of September - so you can make sure you see out festival season with a bang! After 6 years, Tranz-Mission is back with an epic festival at London's Finsbury Park. SLAMMIN VINYL'S EPIC FESTIVAL SEASON FINALE FOUND are rounding off their summer with another mad festival. This time the FOUND series are heading to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford for a mammoth party celebrating all things UK rave. On the 18th September they're presenting the Moondance Festival and they haven't fucked around on this one! They've sorted nine stages across the site hosted by big brands like Garage Nation and Epidemik, with Moondance & United taking control of the main stage. Its colossal line up fits in over 180 acts covering every aspect of the UK's rave scene, with the original heads alongside today's innovators. Some how all squeezed in between 11am and 10pm Moondance is one of the biggest festivals to hit the London circuit this year. Nodding to the long history of rave in the UK, Moondance will celebrates the past and showcases the best examples of a range of genres including acid, jungle, grime, hardcore, garage and drum & bass. All these styles will be repped by leading figureheads, new and old. MOONDANCE
