Riva Starr releases a special two-part remixed version of Defintion Of Sound Released in March earlier this year, Definition Of Sound was an album that truly showcased the Italian's musical prowess, seeing him fuse his unique production style with a roster of collaborators, including acid house pioneer DJ Pierre, Green Velvet, and Gene Farris. The stellar remix package includes German duo Mat.Joe's rework of 'In The Midnight Hour', retaining Dajae's rich vocals and combining them with deep, resonate drums, Detlef's version of 'After Dark (Is When We Move)', Will Clarke's tech house makeover of 'Without You' and Santos' dark, percussive remix of 'Can You Feel The Sunshine'. The second EP of the remix package sees Germany's talented Emanuel Satie provide a tasty re-rub of 'The Loft' feat. DajaƩ by manipulating the original's recurring piano riff. Fellow Italians Paul C & Paolo Martini put their own slant on 'You're Beating' feat. Green Velvet, delivering a trippy tech house roller, and Paride Saraceni delivers a very powerful, uplifting and melodic interpretation of 'Count On Me'. With one of his most invigorating studio releases to date, Riva Starr has inspired some of house music's hottest talents to work their magic and produce stellar remixes. More @guestlist.net It's another mysterious but great new track from the elusive duo Audio Rehab returns to its spiritual home at London's Ministry of Sound on 10th September ONE TO WATCH: SHAKECRAFT & KAMEREON Audio Rehab was initially set up as a label by the highly influential RinseFM DJ and producer Mark Radford, and this September, the party is back in town with another incredible line-up of talent. Headlining the Box is Low Steppa, who continues to lead the bass house charge both with his own productions and via his label, Simma Black. Joining him is German Brigante, label boss Mark Radford, Mexico's Thee Cool Cats, and Marsellus Wallace. Things are just as strong out in the 103. Bringing their unique blend of fat beats direct from New York City, Eskuche & NU Sky top the bill, with heavyweight support coming from some of the UK's finest artists, including Carnao Beats, Apollo 84, Soul Divide and Joziff Jordan. Entitled 'Sweat', it's a quirky dark house stomper featuring seductive female vocals and is the latest release to come out on Danny Howard's newly- launched Nothing Else Matters label. We can't find much info on the two producers, other than that they are London based and share a love for the underground and want to let their music do the talking for them.
