NEWS: NOISIA ALBUM WAS LEAKED FORCING AN EARLY RELEASE D Product supplies fresh fire for Full Cycle. Noisia's whole second album was leaked online a month before it's release date. Excitement was building in the drum & bass world as we were prepping for Noisia's second album, Outer Edges. We couldn't wait and neither could some others after the whole album was leaked online at the end of July. It's premature release meant the Dutch trio had to rethink their summer strategy and release Outer Edges early. Damn... In a statement the group said 'users of all platforms should be able to listen to our music the minute it's available anywhere else. In this philosophy, the availability of out whole album on illegal download sites means that we have t make it available on all platforms'. Annoying for Noisia, making a living out of this industry is hard AF and leakers don't realize how damaging this is. Fans could rejoice as the wait wasn't that long, and FUCK, what an album! Go support the album and respect to Noisia! D Product has locked down the third release for recently revived Full Cycle. He's dropped them 4 fresh tracks full of mad breaks and beefy bass. D Product is no stranger to drum & bass, back in the mid 90s to mid 00s he was working with a range of labels including V Recorings and Full Cycle. He's back on the imprint with The Chronos Circuit EP. It smashes the Full Cycle style. The wonky bassline on 'Time Traveller' goes so well with the intermittent melody, all the work the sickest break you'll hear today clashes endlessly in the back. TRACK OF THE MONTH: D PRODUCT - TIME TRAVELLER ARTIST OF THE MONTH: KARKOTA His debut landed on Hospital and it's big. From the get go you know Krakota's Strange System won't leave you disappointed. He's worked his magic across the 14 tracks and demonstrated his talents as producer developing his sound to suit loads of different situations. He's just the tip of the iceberg for this Bournemouth producer who over the years has been consistently smashing it with sick tunes. His understanding of the history, sided with a lust for a sound of his own stands his productions aside from most. He started on CIA, but after a guest release on Hospital's Sick Music compilation he was quickly snapped by the liquid label. 40 ISSUE 90 / 2016 DRUM & BASS PLAYLIST Here's the drum and bass on our playlist this month: Until The Worlds End (Mind Vortex Remix) Black Sun Empire & State of Mind Code Red Was A Be Incognito (feat. Jerome Thomas (Skeptical Remix)) Jubei Advice (feat. Primo) Leaf
