GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: REPERTOIRE 44 ISSUE 90 / 2016 Innovation are having a reunion after their huge In The Sun session this summer. This labels head is firmly focusing on the future. Repertoire is a label based in Hertford and has been quietly releasing first-class jungle drum & bass music. Set up in 2009 by LAW, the label has been on fire this year with three top EPs and their debut compilation Full Repertoire; that landed 11 tracks from guys like Soul Intent, Mantra and Kid Lib. They're not easing on the pressure though, and have a huge 3 tracked EP this August with tracks from Ricky Force, Double O & Mantra. They've each dropped the imprint huge jungle slammers and it's fire! Keep you're eyes peeled on these guys cos the only direction now is up! And when better to do it than the massive Carnival weekend?! Saturday the 27th August, the Innovation crew are taking over Fire with a fist full of special back to back sets. This carnival drum & bass clash is huge, with some of the biggest names in jump up on hand to keep the club popping till 7 in the morning. Now that's a great way to start the carnival weekend - doubling up on jaw breaking drum & bass, lovely! ALBUM OF THE MONTH: AUDIO ADDICT CREW - RAVEY MISBEHAVEY The guys at Audio Addict have been misbehaving, and we fucking love it! Hybrid and his Audio Addict crew have fixed up a huge summer party package. Ravey Misbehavey is an eight tracked monster with tracks coming from Samurai Breaks, RMS, Habitat, Tony Jungle, Kumarachi, Scartip and Hybrid himself. Now it's not a collection of fast paced drum & bass - each track perverts loads of sounds and styles, fusing them together and cooking up some crazy experimental weapons any DJ can't be without. Whether its Habitat's grime laced 'Eskimo', Hybrid & Samurai Breaks' half time madness in 'Ruff It Up My Selector', or Kumarachi's brain melting jungle bass record 'On A Vibe' - all the artists have effortlessly packed together different styles and produced one of the most forwarding thinking projects this summer. By looking and taking a step back, the Audio Addict crew have taken five forward.
