46 ISSUE 90 / 2016 INDIE Bon Iver will debut their new album live on Friday at the Eaux Claires Festival. The Melbourne psych adventurers play at Electric Brixton on 8th September Bon Iver's new album will be performed live on Friday during the Eaux Claires Festival, in Eau Claire, Winsconsis. The album's title is apparently 22 Days and it has been promoted by a series of clues on Bon Iver's Instagram account, through a teaser clip and a mural in Brooklyn. Last year Justin Vernon performed new material at the inaugural of the same Festival in Eau Claire, but there weren't official news about the upcoming new album. Now it's finally official, the new album is about to come out. The last Indie folk group album is called Bon Iver and it was released in 2011. In the Eaux Claires Festival in 2007, he wrote the acclaimed debut album For Emma. Vernon will also team up with James Blake for a live performance under the name Fall Creek Boys Choir. It's an incredible indie group and we can't wait to listen to their new work. The band released their fourth LP Nonagon Infinity back in April, which featured single 'Gamma Knife'. With this album the Gizzard have dived back into the freak-beat frenzy of their debut and their perpetually in motion, double-drummer propelled live show. After appearing at Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz and Roskilde as well as countless sold out dates in rooms across the USA, UK, Europe and Australia in the last 12 months, the band played a short tour of the UK earlier this year, which culminated in a sold out show at London's Electric Ballroom. GUESTLIST RECOMMANDS: BON IVER EVENT REVIEW: KING GIZZARD AND THE LIZARD WIZARD ARTIST OF THE MONTH: LEWIS DEL MAR The band from Rockaway Beach, NY have blown up After a successful run of international 2016 tour dates which saw them play sell-out London dates at The Waiting Room in January and The Lexington in May, as well as standout performances at The Great Escape Festival and Dot To Dot, Lewis Del Mar is coming back to our shores for what is sure to be a mega set at Reading & Leeds Festival. Their debut EP won an array of critical acclaim, and that same mash- up of indie and electronica is found throughout their debut album, due out in September.
