On 27th August legendary DJ Norman Jay will be making a rare appearance on the other side of town with Good Times Goes East. Norman Jay MBE is synonymous with west London's party scene, throwing down sublime funk and soul at his world renowned Good Times parties and heading up one of Carnival's best loved sound systems. Last year for the first time ever, Norman took his trusty records across the city for the inaugural Good Times Goes East and he's doing it again in 2016, bringing his unbeatable Carnival warm-up vibes back, this time to Bethnal Green's Oval Space, for one night only. Career highlights already include hitting the number 1 spot in the UK Singles Chart selling over a million records with previous project Sam and the Womp as well as supporting the likes of MIA, touring with Mark Ronson, Disclosure, supporting Elton John, Beardyman, Mr Vegas, Julian Marley, Super Cat and Baby Cham amongst others. The debut single from CRT CLSSX is 'Habits', a tropical electronica cut that blurs the lines between jungle, dancehall, trap and bass. "Habits came about through a shared love for dancehall and bass. We took some of those key elements and built a vibe in the studio over the course of a few months.
