One where Mon- signor de los Santos, spiritual direc- tor for Hispanic evangelization and pastor of Holy Rosary parish, cele- brates 25 years as a priest! Monsignot de los Santos has been an integral part of the Denver Catholic community in his 25 years as a priest, and especially so for the Hispanic community. He was ordained Aug. 9, 1991 in Torreon, Mexico, and moved to the Archdiocese of Denver to serve the large Hispanic population that's here, where he's been ever since. At his anniversary celebration, he told the people: "This celebration is for all of you. The priest is nobody without his people." This is exactly the kind of mentality that makes a great priest, and we are very thankful for Monsignor de los Santos' presence here in Denver for the past 25 years. PHOTO PROVIDED
