IF IDAHOFALLSMAGAZINE.COM 63 to come in and view the wares personally during the three preview days Bighorn hosts, showcasing all available goods from the ongoing auction with lot numbers clearly marked. Each auction generally consists of wares from three different estates, giving customers a wide range to browse and bid on. Some customers are in search of a good deal, while others are looking for pieces of their past. Randy said he has had several customers tell him they come to the auction house because of the things they'll find from their childhood. No matter what they're in search for, many customers end up hooked. "We have a lot of people telling us they become addicts, and we need to start some kind of facility for addicts – auction addicts," Kim Owen, Randy's wife and Bighorn's other owner, said with a laugh. Randy's own auction addiction started when he was a little boy with his grandfa- ther taking him to live auctions. That love of auctioning is what morphed his second-hand store into an auction company years later. He said his favorite part of the job is the variety that comes with it every day. "It's not repetitious," Randy said. "It's always something new." To learn more or join in on the bidding, visit www.bighornauctions.com. IF
