And this time it was down to her health. The US presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton, saw her campaign take another serious blow after she was taken ill at a 9/11 ceremony in New York. The democratic candidate was seen feeling ill and leaving the service early, being helped into her car. It was later revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia. She had been diagnosed with pneumonia on the Friday before and was on a course of antibiotics, though suffered from 'over-heating' at the ceremony on Sunday 11th. A video posted to Twitter shows her staggering into her car, supported up by her aides. Later that day she was seen leaving her sisters home saying 'I feel great, it's a beautiful day in New York'. The incident has fueled the Republican's campaign against her with members questioning if Hillary's physical well-being is up to leading the US. It's turned the long standing conspiracy theory about her health into a genuine campaign issue, something that they definitely didn't want to happen. So what would happen if Hillary was deemed unfit to lead? Well only she can decide whether or not to step down, which seems very unlikey - but if she were either Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden will be likely to stand in her place. The US election so far has been one of the most intense campaigns in living memory, with both candidates surrounded in controversy. The election takes place in November this year.
