Lots of big names will arrive in London to be part of one of the most entertaining festivals of the Autumn season from 18th to 30th September at the Roundhouse. Alicia Keys, Bastille, Elton John, Britney Spears, Calvin Harris, Robbie Williams, The 1975, One Republic, Michael Bublé and Chance the Rapper will join the festival as headline artists. 10 is the number to remember. It refers not only to the ten nights of live show but also the tenth year Apple has run a version of the festival. The live performances will be made available live and on-demand to Apple Music members in 100 countries on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, Apple TV and Android phones. NEWS: APPLE MUSIC FESTIVAL 10 ALBUM OF THE MONTH: MATT WILLS - HURRICANE Singer-songwriter Matt Wills releases his Hurricane EP. Born in Kent and now resident in London, Matt is a songwriter with a difference, seeking out collaborators from the worlds of electronic music and grime to turn his guitar compositions into something new. The Hurricane EP is his manifesto for an electronic singer- songwriter. It opens with a remix of the title track by Mad Decent's Daktyl, who also produces the next track 'Overdose'. The "love song version" of 'Hurricane', features a guest appearance from Devlin, and an acoustic version of 'Put It All On Me' closes the EP. Matt explains Devlin's involvement; "Hurricane was the first track I wrote for my album – it's about a girl I stupidly fell in love with and she was someone you just shouldn't fall in love with. The day we finished the tune, straight away I said 'I'd love to have Devlin on this'. I've always rated Devlin as one of the top MCs in the country and one of my favourite songs of his is 'Let It Go'. I felt like Hurricane had the same vibe of a guy openly talking about his love for someone but in an adult way. Not everything has to be spoken about so delicately." He continues, "I love acoustic music, and I wanted to take the heartbreak and feeling from acoustic music and mix it with beats and a little bit of electronica. Electronic music doesn't have to be upbeat; it can still have emotion, but it's got to make you want to dance." TRACK OF THE MONTH: LADY GAGA - PERFECT ILLUSION Lady Gaga releases her new single after three years from Applause. Lady Gaga is back. Her much-anticipated new single, "Perfect Illusion," is her second new song since 2013. After last year Academy Award-nominated "Till it Happens to You," from the soundtrack of The Hunting Ground, Stefani Germanotta debuts with this new track that will be part of her upcoming fifth album. Perfect Illusion clearly hints to her "Bad Romance" past and mixes a thrilling rock vibe with adrenalinic '80s synthesizers and a dance-pop atmosphere. Gaga co-wrote it with its producers: Tame Impala's Kevin Parkepop and savant Mark Ronson. Perfect Illusion is the perfect radio single, and it will likely be the starting point of another Gaga's incredible success.
