Called the Powamekka Cafe, it takes its name and menu items from sketches the rapper created for a cookbook. Menu items include a California Love Chicken Sandwich and a Hennessy Apple Butter Chicken Wings. Lightning strikes Berghain The world famous techno club in Berlin was struck by lightning in late August. It caused the sound system to fail for a few moments, but shut off the air conditioning and left on the bright emergency lightning for hours. But in top form, the club carried on partying. Hazard disqualifies track from awards DJ Hazard's 'Bricks Don't Roll' that took the award for Best Track at the recent D&B awards though he rejected the award as the record was released in 2014. 'I don't know who's mistake it was, but it happened. He then handed it over to Guv for his track 'Warning'. Red Hot Chillis spoof Saturday Night Fever The Red Hot Chilli Peppers bared all for the video of their latest single 'Go Robot'. Singer Anthony Kiedis wears nothing by white paint as he visits locations used in the original 1977 disco movie. The video, directed by Tota Lee sees all band members credited under different aliases. Prince Buster dies aged 78 Jamaican musician, Prince Buster sadly passed away. An iconic figure in the world of ska and rocksteady. He began with his soundsystem, Voice of the People but it was his pioneering ska records in the 60s that cemented his position. His work influenced the likes of Madness & The Specials More @guestlist.net PREVIEW ANNIE MAC PRESENTS: ALL DAY RAVES @ TOBACCO DOCKS Building from their experiences in Malta at their Lost & Found festival, the AMP team are ready to round off the summer in style. They have have specially fixed up three incredible line ups. In true AMP form all three events will play host to a diverse, fun bunch of DJs and live acts with some of the industries biggest alongside some of the newest and most exciting emerging talents. They're taking over the iconic Tobacco Docks in Wapping on October 1st for the London edition and with Basement Jaxx, Mella Dee and Annie herself billed, you know it's gonna be big. REVIEW CREAM CLASSICS Cream brought back their huge Cream Classics show to Brixton's O2 Academy. Performed by K Klass and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Together they arranged a jaw dropping set that effortlessly takes you through some of the biggest tracks that helped define Cream. The whole set was arranged and performed perfectly, a breathing example of all killer no filler. K Klass and the Liverpool's Philharmonic did an incredible job of presenting the tracks that have defined Cream, and indeed a generation. PREVIEW Break's Symmetry Recordings is taking over Phonox. Performed by K Klass and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Together they arranged a jaw dropping set that effortlessly takes you through some of the biggest tracks that helped define Cream.
