20 ISSUE 92 / 2016 FESTIVALS With the likes of Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Adam Beyer, Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann all playing on October 31st, it really will be a techno paradise. The main event this year will take place across four fantastic stages - the Kappa Stage, Jager Stage, Detroit Stage and Yellow Room, and the theme for discussions will be the creative interconnection of new technologies with the music. International stars Pan-Pot, KiNK live, Sven Vath, Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg, Apollonia, Chris Carrier, Gary Beck from Soma and Berghain heavyweights Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann are all on the line-up. Phuture, Steve Rachmad, Derrick May and Jeff Mills will all also be hitting the decks and representing Detroit. In the lead-up to the main festival, there will be a series of parties and workshops - October 22nd sees Martin Buttrich at Audiodrome, a live set from Scuola Holden on the 26th, and on the 27th Movement Club at Centralino. On the 28th is Movement Culture - Workshop at Politecnico di Torino, then a second Movement Club with "We Play The Music We Love", a third on the 29th at Chalet (with a special guest to be announced), and finally the Superga Happy Birthday on the 30th. Movement Torino unveils its bold plans for the 2016 edition, including a run of events leading up to the main festival in Italy. MOVEMENT TORINO 2016 IS UNMISSABLE Innovation in the dam is back for it's 12th year in November, sporting an insane line up of drum n bass. By day, you could blaze up some of Amsterdam's finest, take a stroll down the canal - if you aren't too stoned - or see what's good with Anne Frank; but when darkness falls, you better make (dam) sure you're skanking to some d n b at Innovation in the dam. With one of the filthiest line up's to come out of 2016, Innovation have really set the bar high for all d n b events on the calendar. They've got the likes of Andy C, DJ Hype, SASASAS, Nicky Blackmarket, Skibadee, MC Stormin all set to tear up the place. These artists will help with your journey through the dam, wrapping up the dirtiest basslines and giving them straight to you. Across 3 clubs and 3 nights, the city lives and breathes drum n bass, and spreads all the wicked vibes that come with it. Make sure you're there to cause some serious damage in the dam! Get your tickets here. CAUSING DAMAGE IN THE DAM
