Steins are available with a frosted coating or clear with a white imprintable area. • Coupe glass plates are tempered and available in round, square or rectan- gular shapes. They are food safe as the coating side does not come in contact with food. A vacuum style heat press is ideal for transfer to the underside of the glass. • Glass coasters are available in round and square shapes. With a white- coated back, they image beautifully. • Crystal jewelry includes small coated cr ystal pendants that are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes for necklaces, chokers and earrings. They are great for gifts and will dis- play even better, sparkling color with the new hybrid coatings. CLOSING NOTES For best results, use quality sublima- tion glass from well-known suppliers. Follow the manufacturer's heat pressing instructions carefully—they var y from each brand depending on the coating, fra- gility, and size of the glass item. Attempt to standardize on one or two brands that perform the best. Higher color density typically yields better results. Printer dpi of 1440 or 1200 is usually best. Most importantly, order a few small samples to test.
