2017 OFF-ROAD BIKES
The WP AER 48 air fork
offers a suspension boasting
settings more conducive to
off-road racing, yet retains
decent stiffness for fairly
spirited MX laps. An electric-
start-only system derived
from the motocross world
and placed into the off-road
realm, includes, a more
powerful battery and no
kickstarter to reduce weight.
Designed as a closed-
course off-road racer, the
FX series bikes come with an
18-inch rear wheel instead
of the FC's 19-inch wheel.
It also includes a larger
2.2-gallon fuel tank and the
same close-ratio five-speed
transmission as the FC 450.
(The FX 350 comes with a
six-speed while the FX 350
has a five-speed.) The price
hasn't been announced yet.
HUSQVARNA FX 450
The 2017 FX series is a new
model line for Husqvarna,
and is a sort of mix of the
FC motocrossers and FE
enduro/off-road bikes.
Comprised of the FX 350
and FX 450, these machines
bring features like traction
control (including the ability
to turn it off) with rider-
selectable ignition MAPs.
