Their mix of clever and pop savvy electro that incorporates a great number of cultural references is sure to get your head spinning. We Fear Silence Presents Blackout with Black Sun Empire @ Cable Doctors Orders & The Jazz Cafe Present KRS- One @ Jazz Cafe 23rd & 24th July The legendary teacha KRS ONE will be touching base in London this month. From his early days as one half of Boogie Down Produc- tions he has remained an impor- tant figure in hip hop with classics such as 'Sound Of Da Police' and 'MCs Act Like They Don't Know'. Being the primary initiator behind the H.E.A.L. compilation and the Stop the Violence Movement, this gig is one not to be missed. 21st July Headliners Black Sun Empire are globally renowned for their explo- sive, techno infused style of drum & bass and after packing clubs across Europe with their night Blackout, they return to Cable. Exit Records boss man dBridge will be bringing his unique mini- mal sound as will Valve records legend Dillinja. Co-founder of Vi- rus Recordings, Ed Rush will be getting his spin on, alongside the likes of the fresh out of Brazil BTK (Dutty Audio Boss), Alley Cat, the head lady of Kokeshi Records and German duo Neonlight. Getdarker: Outlook Send Off Party @ Cable 3rd August Yes, that time of year has come again and we are getting hyped about one of our favourite festivals of the year, Outlook in Croatia. And who better to call upon to host their send off party, the dubstep heavyweight crew Getdarker. own pirate boat party theme and fort stage, expect a big night backed by a big line up including Pinch, Author, Youngsta, Chef and whole load more. If you are going to miss Outlook this year, or going to get yourself warmed up for the festival, this is definitely the spot to be at...we will catch you there. Representing their Damian Marley @ London Indigo2 26th July To celebrate the 50th anniver- sary of Jamaica's independence in spectacular style, IndigO2 will play host to the Jamaica 50 Fes- tival.
