Issue 41 / 2012 THE GUESTLIST NETWORK www.guestlist.net SUMMER SERIES AT SOMERSET HOUSE This annual event has been taking place since 2001 and this year they are back with an epic lineup full of beautiful music. 5 7 Summer Series is back again with a roaring lineup that has already had sold out dates and amazing performances from the likes of Katy B, Devlin and the one and only Jill Scott. On the 9th July one of the world's foremost soul divas Jill Scott did nothing but ooze sex appeal on the stage. Jilly from Philly was backed by a 10 piece band and together played us old school tracks from the feisty 'Gettin' In The Way' and 'Long Walk' along with some new songs. Finish- ing the night with her operatic number 'He Loves Me', there's absolutely no question why Jill Scott was selected to take part in this exciting series. With her poetic words and powerful lyrics filling the open air venue, this was a truly magical night.
