NEWS: ANDY C IS XOYO'S NEXT 13 WEEK RESIDENT Long time V affiliate Serum has teamed up with two of the labels fresher faces Paul T & Edward Oberon for two incredible tracks. He'll be holding down Friday nights at the 500 capacity venue between January and March. He spends his time travelling across the world, performing on the biggest stages around. He has a solid reputation for his tight mixes and huge knowledge of a genre he reps on a global level. From January next year the Essex DJ will put that all aside. Instead Andy C will be performing at the same club every weekend - a return to the clubs, the place where he earned his stripes. It's all part of XOYO's renowned residency series - seeing the drum & bass legend holding down every Friday between January 6th and March 31st. During the stint Andy will be joined by an incredible selection of artists representing the whole spectrum of the music. Of the names are guys like Ivy Lab, Mampi Swift, Calibre, Fabio & Grooverider, and Randall. XOYO won't know what's hit it! Speaking about the opportunity Andy said 'I had to jump at the chance!' He cites how this was the way things all started and signals a move back to the underground - with XOYO's basement the perfect location. Within days of dropping, Take My Breath Away / In Too Deep was top of the Juno charts, and once you hear them you'll know why. Two precision stompers, guided by the progression with the perfect drum beats. 'In Too Deep' is our stand out track. With this one the three producers have mixed up old skool flavours with Paul T & Edward Oberon's slick liquid style. The combination works a treat and will sure set off on the floors with it's unique energy and good vibes. Oh and that bassline, that'll tear shit up by itself. TRACK OF THE MONTH: SERUM, PAUL T & EDWARD OBERON - IN TOO DEEP ARTIST OF THE MONTH: TWISTED INDIVIDUAL Twisted Individual looks prime to make a big come back in 2017. Twisted Individual's been hard at work this year. Working in the studio, he's been posting snippets of the results on Facebook and it sounds huge. Twisted broke his five year gap earlier this year with two sick tracks, Wobble By Nature & Requiem - both proving he's not lost his skills, nor his humour. He dominated the jump up scene and has an incredible discography of tunes. His master craft of jungle laced drums and bass tones wonky AF were unstoppable on the floors. We're buzzing to see what the jump up don has in store for us in 2017. Twisted Individual's been hard at work this year.
