Munters FreeDry™ M unters FreeDry™ unit combines the low-cost benefits of cooling- based dehumidification technol- ogy with an advanced low-temperature desiccant rotor for unequaled moisture removal capacity and 60 percent lower annual operating costs. Instead of using natural gas to reacti- vate the desiccant wheel, Munters' FreeDry™ unit uses the waste heat from the arena's ice plant. The FreeDry™ heat pump and multiple-scroll air-condition- ing compressors enable FreeDry™ to easily maintain indoor humidity levels, even under the most extreme summer outdoor conditions.
