BFGOODRICH
MONUMENT WALL
COMPLETED
BFGoodrich completed the building of a monument wall located in Ensenada, Mexico, which was built to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary and involvement in racing in Baja. The wall features a commemorative plate showcasing the years and names of racers who won various SCORE races in Baja. Above the plate and in the center of the monument is a relief of the Baja peninsula, with SCORE race courses outlined within it.
A media conference celebrating the monument wall’s completion was held in early January with SCORE CEO Roger Norman, the municipal president of Ensenada, Mexico Marco Antonio Novelo Osuna, and his wife Mirna Ibarra de Novelo, who is the president of the Ensenada Municipal Integral Family Development System (DIF).
In addition to the monument unveiling, BFGoodrich Tires made a $10,000 donation to the Ensenada DIF, helping the organization in its continuous mission to provide many social assistant programs for families in the area. SJ
