Polaris Launches 2017 RZR Factory Racing Program
Polaris’ 2017 RZR Factory Racing program will offer greater racer support and new team members that are slated to participate in key 2017 SCORE races. For 2017 Polaris announced that it will have a new revamped program with Wayne and Kristen Matlock. Both hope to continue their SCORE and BITD victories with a revamped 2017 program with a focus on a 2017 Baja 1000 victory for Wayne, following his mechanical issue near the finish of the 2016 race. Kristen Matlock will continue to serve as an inspiration to female off-road racers everywhere and will continue to race solo as an “Ironwoman” in Baja.
Polaris also signed Scanlon Motorsports, Rhys Millen and Jake Carver, after winning the Pro UTV NA class at the 2016 SCORE Baja 1000. In addition, the company will continue to support racers Brandon Schueler of Jagged X, Johnny Angal, and Branden Sims who finished first at the SCORE Baja 1000 in the Pro UTV FI class in 2016. More Polaris sponsored teams are listed in the new Polaris racing website which has more information on its 2017 RZR Factory Racing program that includes racer vehicle discount programs and sponsorship inquiry.
