20 ISSUE 95 / 2016 FESTIVALS Over the years, Caprices has become known as the destination for clubbers, looking for something seriously special, with an almost continuous celebration lasting four days. The festival opens at 7pm on 6th April at The Moon stage with the king of Italian techno, Marco Carola, Marco Faraone, Leon and Paco Osuna on the decks. Day two on the Friday marks the opening of the daytime scene of MDRNTY. Found on the terrace of les Violettes, MDRNTY has a truly unique view of the Alps from 2208m. Friday opens with The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones and Osunlade. Day three kicks off with Seth Troxler B2B with Ricardo Villalobos for a set that will no doubt be not just rare but unmissable. For the evening, The Moon becomes the centre stage for a very techno tale with John Talabot and Axel Boman together as Talaboman, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and Mano Le Tough. Sunday rounds out the festival with a simple epic line up with Cocoon don, Sven Väth, tINI and Dana Ruh are in the controls at the MDRNTY stage. Caprices Festival in Crans-Montana, Switzerland have announced the first acts for 2017 and they have seriously pulled out all the stops! The gathering is returning for its 14th year and this edition looks set to be a true celebration of house and techno. RICHIE HAWTIN, JAMIE JONES & SKREAM ANNOUNCED FOR SXM 2017 The Caribbean paradise festival has announced phase two of the line up for their 2017. The idyllic shores of Saint Martin will play host to a whole heap of top musical talent from 15th -19th March. For their second year Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Skream & The Martinez Brothers lead the surge with DJ W!ld, Guti playing a live set, M.A.N.D.Y and Roy Davis Jr. Just a few of the highlights joining an already world-class bill that will see Ricardo Villalobos, Black Coffee, Âme, Bob Moses and Nina Kraviz on the decks. These newest additions show SXM Festival diving even deeper into the underground curation which it has earned an industry- leading reputation for.
