The young creative making major movements If you don't know Kno Knaim, then get to know South London's answer to nostalgic hip hop with a modern feel. The Internet's Ego Death was a stand out album of 2015. Bringing pure lyricism to the forefront in a mellow, soothing tone, Kno Knaim is definitely keep your eyes on. Inspired by the late great J Dilla, his sounds displays soulful bars and honesty. He released a short EP; 'Breaking Nuus' last year featuring the stand out single 'Ya'll Kno.' Known for his smooth flow, he is able to surf the mellow production and leave the listeners thinking about his metaphors. 2017 will be the year Kno Knaim will make his mark on the UK hip-hop scene. The young wordsmith is a breath of fresh and will continue to impress, with his storytelling and poetic wit. The UK rap scene is showing promising talent such as Loyle Carner, Jesse James Solomon and Sub Luna City to name a few. Kno Knaim is up next and will turn heads with his chilled vibes, he continues to grow as an artist and may give us a different sound in the future. It won't be long until this South London narrator blows. With tracks like 'Under Control' and album closer 'Palace/Curse', it was the record we were waiting for from the Odd Future graduates. 'All About Me' is Syd's first solo outing and the tone seems noticeably darker but first impressions are misleading. The ominous synth, frantic hi-hat trills and narcissistic title disguise its true meaning. The track switches up the typical trap braggadocio and turns it into an anthem for 'keeping it in the family you came with'. Produced by The Internet's Steve Lacy and with fellow Odd Future alumnus Tyler The Creator in the video, 'All about me' is far from being all about her. Bishop Nehru is an all round creative, asides from his production and floetry skills the New Yorker works on videos as both an editor and a director. Such artistic talent led Kendrick Lamar to label Nehru part of 'the next generation of pure talent'. His latest video entitled 'It's Whateva' demonstrates this talent as a musician and a videographer.
