Munters Receives Intel's Prestigious Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement Award M unters Corporation was named a recipient of the Intel Corporation's pres- tigious 2008 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) award, Intel's highest honor for its suppliers, for outstand- ing commit- ment to quali- ty and per- formance by suppliers that provide products and services deemed essential to Intel's success. Munters supplies Intel with energy-efficient air treatment products, such as VOC abatement for environmental protection. The SCQI awards are part of Intel's Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement process, which encourages Intel's key suppliers to strive for excel- lence and continuous improvement. To qualify for SCQI status, suppliers must score at least 95 percent on a report card that assesses per- formance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology and responsiveness goals. Opens Office In New York Q uick as a wrist shot, ice rinks on the East Coast can get personal service from Becker Arena Products. The company recently opened a new satellite sales office in New York. "Our company serves rinks all across the United States," said Jim Becker, presi- dent. "The needs of ice rinks are always changing, and rink operations vary from region to region. Our five satellite offices keep us tuned into what's happening in the area, and provide local customer support." Becker Arena Products offers products for ice rink con- struction, renova- tion, operations and maintenance.
