London Freeze festival is coming back for its fourth year in a row. From 26th-27th October, Battersea Power Station will be seeing the UK's only snow, ski and music festival return. The two days will boast a range of World Cup snowboarding, International skiing and live music over five stages. Set to be the best year so far, headliners include Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Shadow and Zane Lowe, making this year one of the most genre-spanning years of all since the festival was born four years ago. The skiing sees 36 of the top freestyle skiers in the world competing, whilst the snowboarding is only open to the highest ranked, biggest and best snowboarders in the world, with every nation making an appearance, it is the best place to see snowboarding and skiing in the country and the music is set to run OFFSHORE FESTIVAL Getting to see all your favourite bands in one go at a festival, always comes with a down- side: portaloos, queues for bars and food, jostling against over 50,000 other people and, this summer in particular, mud. these pet hates sound familiar then maybe this festival first is for you. Offshore festival is a festival which is... well... Off- shore. If McKean is known for giving Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro their big breaks so don't let the unknown identity of the bands put you off. This is a chance to combine two great experienc- es, festivals and travelling, with 'The Norwegian Jade' stopping off at Dubrovnik, Split, Piraeus and Izmir during the week. Setting off in Venice on the 21st of September 2013, director of the project Karen McKean has envisaged a Festival experience combined with the comfort of a luxury holiday. Eighteen guitar bands, yet to be revealed are playing the gig along with performances from twelve comedians and parties from twelve 'world class' DJs and dance acts. If this sounds like your cup of tea, and if you'd like to have a good cup of tea during a festi- val, the tickets go on sale from the 27th of July, there's only 2,500 tickets available so hurry!
