46 / JULY.AUGUST.2017 USICERINKS.COM u.s. ice rink NEWS Updates from the U.S. Ice Rink Association U.S. Ice Rink Association supports FOMA Annual conference In June, the Facility Operations Managers Association (FOMA) held its 16th annual member conference and trade show in Nashville, Tenn. 68 operations and management professionals representing 25 NHL arenas attended the conference to participate in educational courses, discuss best practices, exchange ideas, and hear about upcoming changes for the 2017- 18 season from the NHL operations department staff. U.S. Ice Rink Association staff provided pre-event and on-site event management assistance for the conference. We would like to thank the FOMA Board of Directors for the opportunity to once again contribute to their annual conference this year. New Membership Resources U.S. Ice Rink Association members are now able to update their Individual, Facility and Vendor membership profiles online at usicerinks.com. If you have not set up your website member login yet, please contact Matt Wagoner 719-538- 1111 or mattw@usicerinks.com. Individual Members • Update contact information (i.e. mailing address, phone number, email address, etc.) • Request and change and/or addition of an employer • View, print and pay current and past due membership, event and training invoices • View and print payment receipts for membership, event and training invoices • Add, edit, or delete a credit card to the account for automated invoice payments • View a history of current and past event and training registrations Facility Members—Primary Contact • Update information about the facility (ownership type; facility type; year opened, etc.) • Add, edit or delete employees attached to the facility profile • Assign contact types to those employees (secondary contact, RINK Magazine subscriptions #1-#5) • View, print and pay current and past due membership, event and training invoices • View and print payment receipts for membership, event and training invoices • Add, edit, or delete a credit card to the account for automated invoice payments • View a history of current and past event and training registrations Vendor Members—Primary Contact • Update information about the organization (product and service categories, company description, etc.) • Add, edit or delete employees attached to the facility profile • Assign contact types to those employees (secondary contact, billing contact, event contact, RINK Magazine subscriptions #1–#5) • View, print and pay current and past due membership and event invoices • View and print payment receipts for membership and event invoices • Add, edit, or delete a credit card to the account for automated invoice payments • View a history of current and past event registrations New Facility Member Benefits U.S. Ice Rink Association Facility Members will now receive up to five copies of each issue of RINK Magazine for their designated employees. In order to take advantage of this new benefit, the Facility Member primary contact will need to take the following steps: Log in to usicerinks.com through the Member Login button 1. Go to the "Member Only Resources" page 2. Click on the "Member Profile Update - Facility Member" button 3. Click on the "My Facility - View Profile / Edit Profile" button 4. Click "Edit" on an existing employee, or "Add" an employee 5.
