The veterans Nutile and Marchi
seem to have the edge heading into
the final stretch of fall camp, but Cen-
teio is the most dynamic athlete of
the group, and he's making a push to
see action this fall.
"He can make plays with his legs
and he's not bashful," Narducci said
of Centeio. "He had the best spring
practice game of any of them. They
may bring him in for packages, run-
ning packages and things like that."
Whoever starts will be surrounded
by one of the best group of skill play-
ers that Notre Dame will face this
season.
"It all starts with Ryquell Arm-
stead," Narducci said of the junior
running back. "He was the so-called
backup last year, but he rushed for
919 yards, 14 touchdowns [and] av-
eraged just about six yards per carry.
He's a guy they feel really good
about."
Temple's three-man receiving
corps has outstanding size, and the
group is athletic and experienced.
It will test Notre Dame's young sec-
ondary early and often.
