Business on board
In the last issue, we highlighted business hotels that offer bleisurable options – mixing business and leisure to the modern day business travellers. It seems that the trend runs through for the meetings and incentives sector as well.
While it has been long known to provide that alternative for a vacation, business on board is fast turning into high demand for corporate event planners. Organisations now look for venues that are away from the norm. Star Cruises for example, has partnered a team building and events planner, Focus Adventure who are able to craft and customise impactful sessions that allow employees to interact and work together to improve communications or learning skills, through fun and games. Perhaps the line is indeed getting thinner when it comes to categorising business and leisure. Is Asia ready for this marriage of two or is this still a foreign entity that has yet to be embraced? Tunis, the 129-suite resort is designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the hotel will offer seven food and beverage outlets, an expansive ballroom and destination spa.
Ideally situated on the Mediterranean Sea, The Ritz-Carlton Tunis, Carthage offers an exclusive beachfront setting adjacent to the Presidential Palace and step away from Carthage's ancient ruins. Tunis has a rich history evident in its many historical sites including the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, comprising of ancient Islamic architecture including over 700 monuments.
