Editor's Note
We hope the year of the Dragon will roar with prosperity for those in the MICE industry. Isn't that what they say about the formidable Dragon – that it brings luck? Though reports from America and
Europe appear to be gloomy, this year still looks relatively good, at least for cities like Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong. But as those in the trade knows, most business has been sought couple of years back. In this issue, our focus is on MICE hotels in Asia featuring hotels
from Batam, Bali, Phuket, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Beijing. They offer a wide range of facilities catering small and big events. We picked some of the top resort hotels like Rasa Sayang in Penang, Le Meridien in Phuket and Grand Hyatt in Bali. What if your client or you have a bigger budget and want
something grander and which would be forever memorable? How about chartering a whole cruise ship? It is something that companies such as Aviva Insurance and Mary Kay Cosmetics have done on Silverseas Cruise, an upmarket cruise company that caters from 132 to 540 passengers. We update with news and we will constantly highlight venues or
hotels which you may fi nd useful in your search for the right location at the right price.
