A pet peeve
I have a pet peeve, it's security checks at VIP events. It's just that I think the security team should have some foreknowledge of whom is going to sabotage the event. Instead, they examine your bags as if they were hiding a bomb, for goodness sake don't they have the guest list and do background checks on them? Okay for me I carry a trusty umbrella in my bag and I was attending a morning event. The security guard wanted to
confi scate my umbrella, did she think I was going to compose a bomb with secret components from the umbrella? I was not amused as I hardly think I
look like a renegade. That episode left me a bit miffed at that event. With that, when you are having
a tough day at the of f ice, there is no better place than to unwind at a pub or nightspot. This edition of TravelWeekly we feature the hip and happening spots in Asia. You can unwind and hang at these places and they have great views and atmosphere. Fancy a night on the town, just look up these places and you are guaranteed a good time. I've personally been to Ku De Ta Bali and it has a scenic view and relaxing ambiance. Bali still remains my top vacation spot and I hope to return soon.
