TravelWeekly Asia is back!
It's good to be back in the industry after a one and a half year hiatus. I was doing a stint as a jewellery editor but I guess sparkling baubles were not for me, they are not as dynamic as travel. Indeed travel is at an exciting place now, you can see this from the brisk sales at the recent NATAS Travel Fair, people have a pent- up desire to travel after the doldrums of last year. Online booking has taken off as well as budget carriers and people are more saavy in the way they book. But that doesn't mean travel agents are not important, you are there to enrich the experience of the traveller, something I'm sure you've heard before. My friend who is a frequent traveller always relies on a reputable travel agency to provide her with a private guide to whatever country she is travelling to with her elderly parents in tow. Most of the times the guides are hospitable and helpful making the travels an enjoyable one, and my
friend has lots of photos to testify to that. Now TravelWeekly has a cutting
edge product that will bear testament to the way the travel climate is changing. New technologies are being rolled out to enhance travel and instead of recoiling, we are advised to embrace it. So I ask you to embrace our new look E-Book which in electronic format is environmentally friendly and can reach out to many more readers. You have the E-Book at your fingertips and can turn to it anytime, you won't lose it, it's nestled safely in your email box. It's still in an easy to read format and you can catch up on the latest news and gain new insights with our feature stories. This an exciting development for us because we believe our catchment is so much larger than before and it brings you timely news. So happy reading! PS: We have also revamped our website so do check it out for daily news !
