Two Armadillos, Martin Dawson and Secretsundaze co-founder Giles Smith played their first ever live set in the UK, also topping the bill was John Heckle. However, the highlight of the party for us was 3024 head honcho, Martyn. This guy got the crowd hyped, spinning old school classics such as Inner City 'Good Life', the vibes were absolutely crazy. A perfect end to the summer! @ CABLE 14TH SEPTEMBER SWERVE FRIDAYS! Swerve, that has been the long- standing staple wednesday night in the drum and bass cal- endar, gave regulars and new comers a special treat with a one off Friday special. Marcus Intalex and Fabio brought the flavour, and special appereance from LTJ Bukem, who absolute- ly smashed it. MARY'S CHURCH Recently I got into Woodburner Day, the London folk music festival that took place at St. Mary's Old Church, in Stoke Newington. 11 bands such as Bard, Brooke Sharkey & many more performed a few songs playing banjos, violins, cellos and accordions, but we could also hear electric guitars trumpets and batteries, accompanied with soft and melodic voices that brought the audience from melancholy states to dance like crazy.
