PURDUE VS. WISCONSIN PHOTO GALLER Y Damp, Dark Day In Ross-Ade Badgers pound Boilermakers on Homecoming Wisconsin 38, Purdue 14 Oct. 13, 2012, Ross-Ade Stadium Photos by Tom Campbell Gary Bush hauled in this 26-yard recep- tion late in the sec- ond quarter, with 15 yards tacked on for a late hit. The Boilermakers looked to be in good position to cut the 10-point margin before intermission, but quarterback Robert Marve was sacked twice, knocking the Boilermakers out of field goal range. The Boilermakers take the field with some flash. It was the second Purdue event in 15 hours to have pyrotechnics; fans got to see oth- ers the night before, as indoor fireworks were on display at the Tip-Off Before The Kickoff, as well. Otis Armstrong, who will be inducted as Purdue's 12th member of the College Football Hall of Fame, proudly displays his certificate of induction. Armstrong, a 1972 All-American, left Purdue as the school's all-time leading rusher with 3,315 yards. He was surpassed 23 years later by Mike Alstott. Coach Danny Hope and offensive coordinator Gary Nord try to give the game officials a little help on a spot after a fourth-and-two pass completion to O.J. Ross. The Boilermakers made the first down, but Caleb TerBush threw an interception three plays later. GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 23, EXPRESS 7 • 13
