Her brand, Broke Boutique, comes from
two principles. The first, re-using discarded
materials, in order to re-design it into highly
sought after 'kink' inspired harnesses. The
second, being that all her life she's spent
being broke!
However, one of the designer's biggest
influences has always been her nan, who's
taught her everything creative, from
sculpting, painting, upcycling and sewing. So
it only made sense that Martin would jump
headfirst into starting her own "ethically
sound fashion label".
While she started with various festival gear
and decorative items, she's now found her
niche, which is 100% sexy ethical harnesses.
Martin gets all her recycled rubber from
Norfolk. Her first posts to the warehouse
community pages around London led her to
selling out all her stock in a matter of weeks
and with designs like this it is easy to see
why.
