46 ISSUE 104 / 2017 INDIE Five-piece indie-folk collective Villa Rivercat share the first single, 'More' taken from their forthcoming album Days and Weeks and Hours. Massachusetts alt-trio PVRIS return to the UK with a headline show for their new album All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell. Comprised of Hanna Fideli Fritzell (lead vocals, guitar), William Lindberg (bass guitar, vocals), Ida Säfström (vocals, violin, harmonica), Jonathan Vester (lead guitar) and Karl Geisler (drums, percussion), Villa Rivercat was formed in the deep forests of Dalarna, Sweden during the beginning of 2015. Mainly drawing influence from American-Canadian 60's country-rock legends, The Band and Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, Villa Rivercat also list modern artists such as Band of Horses and Father John Misty as influences on their own musical direction and sound. Their brand new single 'More' is made up of diverse instrumentation, backed by melodic guitars, tight drum work and delicate vocal arrangements all blended together to create a unique and sincere experience. Playing at the 02 Academy Brixton on the 30th of November, PVRIS found success with their debut album White Noise in 2014. Since then the band has released hit after hit, from 'You and I', 'Winter', 'No Mercy' and 'What's Wrong'. Vocalist Lynn Gunn, guitarist Alex Babinski and bassist Brian MacDonald are bound to give fans a unmissable live performance, so don't miss out on the magic and grab your tickets now!
