How's the year been for you? So far, it's been amazing. So much fantastic stuff going on in our world. The buzz and enthusiasm for the history of Old Skool and Jungle music and the culture is overwhelming. So many people, young and old either want to remi- nisce or learn about those early pioneering days. Rave Story returns for its third year what are you most looking forward to? It's our third year and the thing I look forward to most of all is the socializing. That record shop cul- ture of the late 80's and early 90's that we've been so proud to create at The Rave Story. That meeting point where enthusiasts can meet up and create a community of music lovers. Massive line up! It's just getting bigger and bigger! Yes, we have some amazing characters talking this year. From number one selling artist Adamski to pirate radio royalty like Eastman from Kool. From the original rave MC Chalkie White to pioneering promoter Joe Labrynth. It's just 3 days and nights of absolute characters with amazing stories to tell. Most fun part of last year! The whole experience is fun, the joy of celebrating such an amazing culture with like-minded people is unreal. Artists hanging out with ravers, people for the first time seeing the flyer art. Hearing amaz- ing stories, buying vinyl. It's pretty much heaven! Speakers get animated, don't they? Yes, with that many characters on one stage. The passion fly's around. We have some larger than life speakers as it is, so give em an audience, and watch em go. It gets emotional doesn't it? Yes, every year there's tears of laughter and sadness. The speak- ers really open up about the good and bad times of the past 30 years. From drug addiction to success. Police raids to the biggest par- ties ever staged. The Rave Story seminars are an emotional roller coaster. What's new for this year? This year we've added the DJ, MC and label work shops to give people an insight to those three arts from people who have been at the top of their game for three decades plus.
