Britain's leading 'boutique festival' returns on the earlier-
than-usual dates of August 2nd- 5th with a formidable
line-up set to perform at the Lulworth Estate in Dorset.
Celebrating 250 years since the birth of
the circus, the 15th Bestival will feature
dazzling trapeze routines, knife-throwing,
sword-swallowing, fire-eating and other
circus acts alongside the music. Speaking
of which, among an impressive array of
artists, the line-up includes appearances
from Jorja Smith, Grace Jones, First Aid
Kit, Thundercat, Kelela, London Grammar
and Plan B, not to mention the UK live
debut of Mark Ronson and Diplo's project,
Silk City.
The legendary M.I.A. will be headlining
the closing night before Bestival launches
what they claim to be their 'Biggest Ever
Finale', which will see the performers
from Cirque Bijou walk a flaming high-
wire among other daring feats with the
festival's yearly fireworks display as their
backdrop.
