A ground breaking cer- emony for the new facili- ty will be held this Monday at 3 p.m. Mayor Frank Kinsella doesn't see that financing of the building will pre- sent a burden to the tax- payer. The township received partial funding for the building with a more than $3 million federal and provincial grant. "We figured we could pay off the building from the casino over an eight to 10-year period," said Kinsella. The new facility has not been without contro- versy for township resi- dents, including C.A.R. a group of residents who earlier at Monday's meet- ing were adamant in their need for clarification on the impacts of the new building on township finances. When the municipal departments leave their present premises they will leave behind four buildings, including an administrative office, a public works building, a fire hall and the Lyndhurst fire station. New building won't impact taxpayers: Kinsella
