SPRING VISITORS
Purdue's continued to see
a steady stream of recruits
passing through West Lafayette for its spring practices.
An anticipated visit from
blue-chip tight end Nic
Weishar fell through Saturday, but Purdue did have
four other prospects on
campus for its scrimmage:
Illinois cornerback Lamar
Dawson, local running back
Maurice Woodard, South
Bend receiver Shaq Vann
and Northwest Indiana linebacker Brendyn McKinnon.
None of them have offers, but Dawson said he
hopes to hear from the Boilermaker staff this week.
