Mr Kemp was most recently general manager of Park Hyatt Siem Reap, a stint which followed his rst as general manager of Aryaduta Hotels in Indonesia in 2012. His rst foray into tourism began with cruise company Holland America Line, before he joined hospitality and rose through F&B and management roles at Le Meridien, Sotel and Carlton hotel, all based in The Hague in Netherlands. Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, has welcomed Allen Khoo as its new resident manager. In his new role, Mr Khoo is responsible for operations across Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, Shangri-La Apartments and Shangri-La Residences. He brings with him over 13 years of hotel leadership and hospitality management experience across the group's properties in Malaysia, mainland China and Taiwan, including a stint as resident manager of Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu. Ivy Lim has been appointed senior director of Hyatt Sales Force – Singapore Oce, a role in which she oversees the oce's overall revenue, market share penetration and new business opportunities. Ms Lim reports to Min Bae, regional vice president of sales and marketing operations. She also continues to remain as the key operator of Envision for Hyatt Sales Force, the company's proprietary sales system. Prior to this, she was director of sales operations and eld training at Hyatt Hub, ASPAC in 2017 and, before that, served as assistant director of sales and marketing at Grand Hyatt Singapore. Chikako Shimizu has taken the helm as general manager of the upcoming Andaz Macau, which is expected to open doors within the Galaxy Integrated Resorts precinct in the rst half of 2021. Ms Shimizu joins the Macau property from a previous stint as director of operations at Andaz Singapore, where she was involved in the hotel's opening. She brings with her more than 25 years of experience in hospitality leadership positions around the world. Carl Volschenk has been named general manager at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort. A veteran of the Marriott family for nearly 20 years, Mr Volschenk's career spans a variety of sales and marketing and operations roles. These include the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Complex in Dubai, renovation of Sheraton Oman, remodeling of Plaza Athenee Bangkok, a Royal Meridien hotel, and as hotel manager of Le Meridien Bangkok. He joins the property from his last position as general manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok.
