On March 3, 2020, tornado activity ripped through Nashville,
Tenn., causing extensive damage to homes and businesses.
Because of Partners like you, KCM joined with Operation
Blessing to help people like Patrice, a great-grandmother whose
home had been le in shambles.
When Operation Blessing arrived, she felt relieved and grateful
to God for His protection and for sending people who were
willing to sow into her life. anks to you, Operation Blessing
workers and hundreds of volunteers provided disaster recovery
to Patrice and many other people in the Nashville area. You
also helped send more than 30,000 pounds of groceries to local
food pantries, and made it possible to deliver pillows, sheets,
blankets and towels donated by businesses to those in need
aer the tornado.
Like every other person touched by your twice-sown seed,
Patrice had nothing but words of gratitude. "You just don't
know how much I appreciate you guys being here, being so
supportive. God sent an angel [to protect me], and then sent
all the rest of the angels—you." She now feels back on track to
move forward with her life. And to all of you who made this
possible, she says, "I love you!"
When Hurricane Laura hit in August 2020, with your help, we
sent the KCM and EMIC Relief Team to Lake Charles, La., to
help Partners and those in need.
e KCM Relief Team located 37-year KCM Partners Dave
and Dorothy Broussard. e Broussards shared how Hurricane
Laura went right over their community, wreaking complete
destruction and devastation within 40 miles in every direction.
However, their house suffered minimal damage compared to
other houses. Praise e LORD!
