5 SHARE WORKS BY MORGAN STANLE Y 2020 VC E XECUTIVE COMPENSATION SURVE Y This chart illustrates median revenue per employee by annual revenue grouping. In comparison to the 2019 median revenue per employee we saw a decrease for all revenue groupings with the largest dollar value delta for the >$25-50M revenue category. Companies with between $10M and $25M in revenue experienced a 15% decrease in median revenue per employee, largest decrease as a % of revenue. This could be attributed to companies generating lower than expected revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic as this metric trended downwards across the board.
